My answer would be YES
 I have relatively recently composed some tracks for TV (mini series of educational related TV programme). It was really fun and I'm starting to like this form as its something I only did a few times in the past. You really change the way you think when you have a 20 seconds piece to compose, usually for show's intro and outro (credit sections) parts. The way I have approached is to make up a short theme which starts immediately and has full development in the short amount of time. Have you first watched the shows/documentaries in order to try to get some inspiration from there, or how did the process go for you?

One thing that we had been discussing at my Creativity Workouts is that composing music based on a photo or video can help us to create deeper music, which reflects more intense feelings. I love the atmosphere and the solo is really fresh sounding and fits the tune well, not overplaying or anything. What I'm slightly missing are more dynamics in the tune, maybe try having some sections with only a few instruments and sections which "explode" in full arrangement with some keys or additional instruments (to give the impression of the chorus). I hope that this is the first of many other works like this one. And who know, maybe you will end composing the soundtrack for a movie. That's something that I would love doing. In my case, sometimes a feeling can be enough as a starting point, but some other times I need to decide on other things like style and tempo to be able to start working on something. However everything is different when anybody else asks for something more specific. I go for it in a very fast way, it's awesome how it works... -------------------- My lessons

We do the sound check very early and then we have to wait until the show's time.
