That's really great, man. Nothing compares to seeing a great band live having fun and their chemistry blowing all over the place. Can't wait to hear them live

That does seem like a funny leap. I tend to move my pick around while I'm playing to but to hit different sides of it. Trying to accomplish different attack sounds. I've been curious about a thumb pick, but don't want to be locked in to using a pick in only one way.
But Ritchie talks about it in THIS ARTICLE I've been watching some old videos of Richie Kotzon lately and noticed that he used to play with a pick, I wonder why he decided to change to the side of his thumb, seems a bizarre leap. -------------------- Rock and Roll Lover.
