Hi Chocolate! Your post is so precise mate. You took it to the real life thanks to a personal experience. That's one of the main things that I was meaning. However I think that you will be able to find the way to keep on being yourself but also fitting better with the other guys for the next concert.

What ideas do you have to do it? what are you planning to wear? Has this happened to any other GMC:er? How did you manage it?

I really don't know. I'll probably just wear either my Steven Wilson 'The Raven That Refused to Sing'' tour t-shirt or my Haken ''Premium quality progressive rock'' t-shirt =D

Alternatively I could wear my Pink flowery shirt...

I say go for it!! You could always wear a Tshirt under it wear the pink shirt just loose, and if it gets to hot under the lights or you spill a drink on it, just lose the outer layer and your still ready to go smile.gif

Bingo!
I was thinking about him but couldn't remember his name. He was also in Alcatrazz and (I think) the Michael Schenker group (MSG).

Pop / Rock / Metal / Hip Hop: Age under 29 is essential. Good looking hair is essential.Wear black.

Indie: look under 40 - weight is not a factor. Hair is not a factor but if you're bald, wear a hat. Ties and sports jacket work.

Country - age is not so much a factor as the size of hat you wear. You can be ugly as sin, old as an oak tree, what matters is what you wear.

Jazz - You are expected to be at least 50 or older - people are typically sitting down drinking, so looks don't matter. Iron your shirt for added effect.

Reggae - what you wear is essential, and you must have lots of hair, dreaded preferred. Weight is not a factor. in fact, bonus points if you are over 300 lbs.

Polka - You're joking, right? Cigars work fine.

Blues - wear black. Be older than 55. Preferably black and sunglasses are preferred.

Bingo - Ben knows biggrin.gif Yeah man - Costin was responsible for our first EP artwork as well and we're sure as hell going to work with him on the album we're sorting out this autumn.

He's a truly talented graphic artist who's currently working with quite a lot of big names in the international metal scene.

@Gabi - that's Adam from Killswitch Engage biggrin.gif He's a total clown onstage!

So we play our first Gig tomorrow night at a bar in Glasgow in Scotland. I've decided I'm going to wear my pink floral shirt for the banter to see what happens. WISH ME LUCK!

I hope you have a blast!

I think the shirt looks fine. Wear it with some ripped up blue jeans or some camouflage cargo shorts. If you're going to wear the black slacks with it - just go all out and wear a matching suit coat too - spike your hair and go for the hip vampire look.

I remember a band called Virgos Merlot back in the 90s that dressed to the Nines and wore solid black contact lenses - I got to meet them when they came here - I thought they looked cool. Brett Hesla was their lead vocalist and he is now the singer of the group Dark New Day.
