I hope you have a blast!

I think the shirt looks fine. Wear it with some ripped up blue jeans or some camouflage cargo shorts. If you're going to wear the black slacks with it - just go all out and wear a matching suit coat too - spike your hair and go for the hip vampire look.

I remember a band called Virgos Merlot back in the 90s that dressed to the Nines and wore solid black contact lenses - I got to meet them when they came here - I thought they looked cool. Brett Hesla was their lead vocalist and he is now the singer of the group Dark New Day.

Wow! Dude, I thought I was the only one knowing about Virgos - but tell me, does Dark New Day still exist, now with Clint back in Sevendust? smile.gif

So we play our first Gig tomorrow night at a bar in Glasgow in Scotland. I've decided I'm going to wear my pink floral shirt for the banter to see what happens. WISH ME LUCK!

So you decided to go for the pink t-shirt!! Awesome, you are brave. The show must be happening right now... I hope that you are having a great time man! Then tell us how it was!

Anybody else decided to go for risky clothes in a gig? biggrin.gif

Not too weird because I'm playing with a guy from Glasgow ...

But sometimes before and after the gigs can be a little trying ... here in Los Angeles.

There's nothing like the expression of surprise on the folks faces when they see something extraordinary biggrin.gif I lived this story when we had our sword seminar a month ago smile.gif Takara, the Japanese master who came to train us, went downtown in a well known restaurant dressed up as a samurai biggrin.gif Imagine the looks on the people's faces laugh.gif

Cool pic mate! Well... we are most used to this, even more when it's for a show with celtic influences But yes, you must feel weird while you are not on stage...

Hah! Thanks man - but it felt very weird and needless to say, I stepped on the robe one too many times while wailing around onstage and I almost fell, guitar and all laugh.gif

Nice touch on the JACK DANIELS guitar as well smile.gif Great to see Tennessee sour mash being appreciated all the way over in Romania! Who is the gal singing in your band? She sorta looks like the vocalist in amaranthe?

In reference to my kilt ...

That's the funny part. At this point I don't feel at all uncomfortable wearing the kilt even when I'm not playing. I like watching other folks reaction, especially when I stop at the late night Taco shop on my way home. I keep my sunglasses on for full effect.

*I want to get Cosmin's Orthodox Priest outfit.

Hey Comsin,

I think they still record because it's a family/friendship type of thing and Brett has his own recording studio and is a producer. They came out with a new album a couple years ago - They have 4 all together.

One of the guitarist for Virgos Merlot (Ted Ledbetter) died a few years back at a very young age from diabetes. So sad. They had found a new singer once Brett left which sounded just like him, but they dropped their gimmick and the Virgos Merlot thing lost it's vibe. I have to say that next to Maynard - Brett is my favorite rock vocalist - lyrically and vocally.

BTW Cosmin - I really dig your priest look - the gown is a little strange, but the collar/shirt is a really cool look for you.

Well dudes that's me JUST home....

After the gig (which was amazing) we stuck the gear at a friends house, went clubbing. Woke up the next morning and decided to go straight to the pub, same again on Sunday. Today I feel like absolute crap but it was very much worth it lmao ^^

Wow, so DND is still on! Amazing! That first album was totally minblowing for me and indeed, Brett is among my favorite vocalists as well!

About the priest outfit - well that one comes on me only when I perform with Ultra TT biggrin.gif

She's the vocalist's wife - she doesn't perform anymore - but she's an uber cool chick!
