> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey buddy!

This looks and sounds good! I think that what I would see as an addition to this take, would be a little more definition on the palm muting and groove - you tend to rush a bit in the lick that ties the first part with the second one.

These are details, but they can make a great difference usually wink.gif

Hi dcz! This is a good take. As Cosmin said there are details to polish, like the palm muting sound (I think that you should experiment with the place where you mute with your palm) and also some other things like the faster licks that appear at 00:09 and 00:51.

Keep on practicing this one focusing on details.

Good playing, like my friends said take care of the palm muting and groove.
Don't rush the riffs and the licks.
The licks are a litle bit rushed up at 0:08-0:09.
At 0:26 that chord is little bit too laid-back.
Keep up the good work smile.gif
