Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi there, I couldn't view your previous takes but I read the feedback to get an idea of what issues you had been working on. Timing wise, it sounds pretty solid to me. Nothing leapt out as sounding off.

The solo was also respectable. Timing was good again and the bending seemed to hit the spot. Could do with more work on lead playing in general just to give yourself more confidence and attitude in the execution of it all.

The better you get, the more aggressive you can be with your right hand, to dig in and accent certain notes more.

Good work !

Hey buddy!

Ben's right on this one - I think the term would be confidence and it can be built with more playing smile.gif The more you do it while being conscious of the things you need to know and pay attention when playing - groove, timing, expression, attitude and tightness - the better you'll become at it.

Keep rocking!

Cosmin

Good work, buddy! The one thing I always focus on mainly is the tone of my fingers. A good rule in music is to never compromise tone - the character of a note, it's pitch and it's clarity - for anything. I'd suggest you try and focus on each note to sound perfectly in tune - steve vai would sit on vibrating a note until he felt it's as perfect as it can get. Let me know what you think about this smile.gif Keep on rocking! biggrin.gif

Hi mate! Nice to see you playing this lesson again! I can notice that you can play it better now! There is an improvement in both the rhythm and solo sections, and it shows how important is to be patient and keep practicing. If one lesson gives to much problem, keep playing it but incorporate others, sometimes our fingers / mind need more time to be used.

The riffing section is close to be perfect, there is some room to play it with more groove and dynamics. The solo shows even a more important improvement compared to previous takes. Be careful with the pitch of your bends.

Gab.-
