Vinnie Moore Style Patterns: 1, Lesson By Laszlo Boross |
|
Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.
The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi man, nice guitar!
This is a very good lesson to work on alternate picking. You are on the right track with this one but you have to continue practicing it to make the licks sound smooth all the time, to make your picking more consistent and also to play the whole lesson tight with the backing. I find some little timing issues that become more important in the last seconds. Keep on practicing this one and start working on any other AP lesson. Feel free to contact me if you want suggestions on how to continue. Cheers! This post has been edited by Gabriel Leopardi: Jun 14 2014, 08:44 PM -------------------- My lessons

Hey mate!
This is indeed a very good lesson for alternate picking And you are already on your path with doing a great job, but as Gabi said, you need to work on your hand synch a bit more. Please slow down the lesson and make sure that both your hands are in perfect synch and the timing is correct and then, maybe record against the original lesson, to notice the eventual differences. I would totally recommend you to take a look at this lesson as well: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Picking-Hand-Basics/ It deals with basic picking in the context of various rhythmic subdivisions - it will help out a lot Also, if you wish to develop your AP skills further, please let me know and send me a PM!
