I've noticed ever since I got my PRS that the neck of the guitar has a sticky feel too it. All of the other guitars that I've ever owned have never had a gloss finish on the back so I've never run into this problem.

If you've run into this problem, how did you fix it?

Yes - that technique does a great job. You will have to re-sand it ever-so-often, cause it seems to make it's way back to how it felt originally.

Finished necks can sometimes feel sticky sad.gif As was mentioned, sand it!!! smile.gif I have had two unfinished necks and I really liked them. I had my Dean sanded down further and now it's perfect smile.gif The BC rich Gunslinger had an unfinished/maple neck which I really liked smile.gif It was a bit thick for me. But I liked unfinished and maple smile.gif
