> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

That was an excellent take man. The only thing that could make it better for me would be a better tone. I'm not sure what gear you're running through but a clearer distortion which is less fizzy would probably benefit you. It also might be an EQ thing too.

But other than that, the playing was great - well done !

Howdy mate smile.gif

I agree with Ben about everything and to add my 2 cents, I'd slow down the part after 01:03 which sounds a bit rigid because of the abrupt chord changes in the riff. It could sound a bit more natural, if you take the time to slow it down and assimilate it with a good flow at a low speed and then keep the same spirit while pushing the speed until it matches the original.

Keep rocking!
