That's a very spiff vid on picking!!! Nicely done BEN! Hmm. I wonder if we might start a new section in the "SERIES" section of the GUITAR LESSONS area about "Speed Picking" and go in to the various aspect of picking briskly? The series section has some great stuff but I don't see a picking briskly series?

Regarding the metronome, I think there's something that people can often miss. They view the metronome as something that improves technique but I view it as something that improves stamina and timing. So true! Another point I forgot to post was that Troy says that when Yngwie is picking a 3 note per string lick he gets it up to speed by picking the first note, picking the second note, then pulling off on the third note. I was actually playing through your Doug Aldrich lesson, Ben, and noticed you play this nifty line: 3 note per strings and not a pull off in sight.
