Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Original lesson: B Major Intermediate Solo by Muris Varajic

Pretty crappy quality at the moment, due to lack of time and equipment. Will hopefully be improved :)

Hey bro!

Very good take here! Congrats on the nice tone, articulated playing, clean and good timing! I don;t have anything else to comment here, aside from a VERY, but VERY slight lag that could be felt around 0:23 at the alternate picking part, but it's still a 10 man! I sent you a PM so that we can see how to improve the video quality wink.gif

Good work!!

Cosmin

That was an excellent take !!

My only criticism is that you went in front of the beat during the major pentatonic run at 0:23-0:24. That's probably the fast tapping part that made you over excited wink.gif

Great work !

Hi mate! This is not an easy lesson because it combines many different techniques on the same solo and you have to switch from one to the other smoothly. I can say that you are doing a killer job with this solo and that you just have some very little details to focus if you want to make this one sound as Muris plays it. The differences are your vibrato, mostly on the first bends (compare yours with Muris one), and the clearness of your Sweep Picking, tapping and alternate picking licks. This is not somethings serious, but isolating the trickier parts and create variations to play as exercises can be good for your technique.

By the way, this is a 9.5! Well done!!
