A buddy nominated me for the icebucket challenge and honestly I have no idea what the cause is. I do however like the idea of dumping a bucket of ice water on my head and so If I am going to do that I may as well wear a bikini.

People are doing it to show support for ALS aka Lou Gehrig's disease. Which Sir Jason Becker is the person who I always remember when it's brought up. sad.gif

Oh man I had no idea. I'm familiar with Jasons music but not of his disease or this Lou Gehrig's disease. Thanks for letting me know

Thanks for sharing man. There are no words to describe how hard that must be. I feel terrible that I didn't research it before. That's a shame, I'm sorry.

It's really humbling isn't it, my mouth dropped open and I teared up a bit when he described himself as lucky because he had great carers.

I've known a few people that have had accidents and ended up in wheelchairs and got on with life making the best of things, but to see Jason in his conditioin making jokes and making music, well words just fail me, but it makes me want to practice harder and more, because he is still an inspiration possibly more now than when he could wield a guitar.
