Just wondering if anyone can give me examples of cool sounding chords I can sweep with, not only major and minor.
Been looking a bit in this chord book I have, cant really seem to find any "sweep-able" chords tongue.gif (atleast not for my skills)

Thanks.

Hey there
I posted a scale afew days ago under having trouble sweeping.Pavel had said it is one of the harder one's but it's the only one i can play right now that i think sounds really good.Check it out

--------------------
My Gear
Cort X-2 electric with 24 frets and 2 humbucker's dark Blue
Kustom DFX100 With Celestion Speakers,and thats it now (lol)

My Advice
Figure out what you want in life early.Wether it's the girl,the partying
or mastering the guitar.Adding any 2 together will get in your way.

I'm playing with major 7ths at the moment - very melodic. works with a song I am writing at the moment.

2 string :

E||-------7-10p-7-----||
B||--7h-8---------8---||
G||-------------------||
D||-------------------||
A||-------------------||
E||-------------------||

That one you can just as easily alt pick.

And a 5 string one:

E||--------------------12--------------------
B||--------------12-13----13-12--------------
G||-----------12----------------12-----------
D||--------14----------------------14--------
A||--14-15----------------------------15-----
E||------------------------------------------

A little awkward with the bar and all but sounds nice.

Here's one I use (too often rolleyes.gif ) good for finger stretching smile.gif :

---------------------------19--------------------------------
----------------------19--------19--------------------------
----------------16--------------------16--------------------
----------14---------------------------------14-------------
----12--------------------------------------------12--------
--------------------------------------------------------------

often followed by this part sweep part legato

-------------------------14--15---14-17 15--14-------------------------
---------------------15-----------------------------15--------------------
-----------------16-------------------------------------16----------------
-------------14---------------------------------------------14------------
-------12--------------------------------------------------------12--------
----------------------------------------------------------------------14--7--0--

Cheers,
Tony
