So I picked up a few pedals and one of them being a Palmer Pedal made in Germany. It was $40 cdn dollars. Has anyone here heard of Palmer. Its the distortion pedal.

I've never heard of them before so I checked out their website and they seem pretty legit. I like their octave pedal for sure!

Does that metal casing they are wrapped in prevent you from getting to the inside of the pedal? I always pop the hoods on all my effects to see what the engine looks like cool.gif

Yeah they are legit, the metal casing is designed for putting the pedal on a pedal board

The only Palmer unit I had knowledge of and used, is this one:



It's actually a specialized guitar DI box, which you can use if you can't mic your amp onstage - it works amazingly good!

Didn't even know they made those Cosmin smile.gif The distortion pedal sounds great for the price. A very nice rock sound not overly distorted.

I'll see if I can check it out, tho I think that there aren't any around. Everyone in here uses the DI box from Palmer tho - all of us in Days included. The guitarists I mean. When you have a gig in which you can't mic the cab properly due to the venue conditions, you can have the Palmer ready and prestooo.. problem solved smile.gif Here's how it works:
