Hi Rated,
there are nice ideas happening there! You need to continue practicing this in order to feel more comfortable and be able to relax while playing. Your playing sounds like "nervous", vibrato is fast, and phrases tend to go before the beat. This give a nervous or anxious feel that it's surely how you feel while improvising at this point over this backing. Take a deep breath and keep on jamming over this one! -------------------- My lessons

Hi mate, good job!
This improvisation sounds really nice. I can notice that you've got the feel of the lesson even before mastering it. That's the main goal of the work that we are doing here. Well done! I hear some pitch issues when you play on higher frets. Are your strings old? Or maybe, your guitar needs some adjustment? Your phrasing is interesting. Keep on practising in order to become more and more comfortable with this backing and type of phrasing. Also, be careful with bending pitch. -------------------- My lessons

Hi mate, congrats on your new camera!! That's a great investment for your guitar practice!
Great to know that you've been working on some new stuff, which lessons have you picked? About the current lesson, it would be great if you can provide both things, the actual lesson and an improvisation. It's a beautiful lesson so I think that you'll enjoy polishing it, don't you think so? -------------------- My lessons

Nice! Yeah, I can note that you are not totally relaxed but it's a matter of practice. Maybe you could record your whole practice routines in order to get familiar with the situation and make it normal.
I think that the whole take is ok, but that it can sound with more feeling, groove and dynamics. I'm sure that part of this is related to the REC thing, but maybe a part not. Besides this, the last 30 seconds of the solo has some things to polish regarding pitch, bends, and timing. -------------------- My lessons

Hi mate, that's not bad at all! You can play most of the parts at tempo with precision, the next step is to give this more feeling adding more dynamics and making everything sound groovier, as we've already discussed previously.
However, this can only happen once you are totally familiar with the different licks so you'll need more days to polish the lesson. By the way, if you agree we can move forward and you keep this one in your diary practice. What do you think? -------------------- My lessons

Hi mate! This is brilliant! Your playing is top level in this video. There are just a few very little timing issues (for example at 00:23) where you rush a bit, but this is very small, the overall is flawless. Also, I think that the new tone fits perfect with the backing track. I'm starting to enjoy this guitar for this style of playing. Well done!
So we've worked on: - Land of legato - Bending Workout - BB King Blues - Melodic Bluesy Phrasing - Bendy Blues - Ballad soloing 1 - Ballad soloing 2 here we go: ASSIGNMENT #7: Goals: - Fusion Phrasing - Dorian Phrasing TASK 1: - Learn this lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Scofiled-Blues/ TASK 2: - Improvise over the backing track of the lesson focusing on bending and vibrato. Exam and deadline: By January 22h you'll have to share 2 videos: - A video playing the lesson(5 coins) - A video improvising over the backing track. (5 coins) Each of these videos will be evaluated (check the coins value below). You need to get at least 7 coins to pass. If you pass, we can continue, if you don't you will have a second "call". -------------------- My lessons
