For your dining and dancing pleasure ...

*My kid just had a tonsillectomy (he's fine, though a little pissed off at me). So I'm basically at home with him during the day for about the 10 days to two weeks. You will probably be subjected to a couple more of these chord solos.

This is a beautiful version man. Well done! Is is your own arrangement?

This won't be a problem, what about some tabs too? biggrin.gif

Thanks Gab!
I don't write stuff out in TAB but I do have the 'lead sheet' in standard notation with my personal notes on it.
Chord voicings, substitutions, bass notes, etc.
And yes, the arrangement is mine.
*The writer of this song is Consuelo Velazques (not Carlos).

Great as always wink.gif

I remember having a lot of these 'lead sheets' from those jazz fake books... maybe it's time I tried to learn a few myself smile.gif

Beautiful arrangement Ken! I'm a fan of such arrangements where guitar is playing both vocal lead and chords accompaniment. It can sound very powerful. Something which is piano able to do "easily" which back in the days when I was starting had me think piano is a more versatile instrument.

BTW - I love this version sung by Paul :

Thanks Bleez.
I use a lot of standard chord shapes but I've come to not placing the fingers down on the notes/strings I'm not hitting. So a lot of the time even a common Cm barre chord can look weird.

@Bogdan ... I too love that early Beatles version. That was sort of their audition for Decca records in 1962 with Pete Best on drums.
