Damn Kris You explore absolutely new fields of music biggrin.gif I loved to spend lots of time listening to a stuff like Enya when I was working as an graphic designer smile.gif Excellent mood to keep Your overheated mind in a stable state smile.gif

An Enya CD is what put me to sleep for the last 5-6 years or so smile.gif I guess her music is already printed in the subconscious part of my brain.

Yeah that's a really cool technique, but I find it tricky to shift between the two type of voices in a musical way!

The possibilities are endless though, and it's a lot of fun to experiment. cool.gif

Indeed! I noticed you like to sing, more and more smile.gif Is it something you discovered lately or you had it with you all the time and you just found the time to experiment now?

Thanks for asking Cosmin!

I have always enjoyed singing, and I think it started when I listened to the Roxette album "Look sharp" when I was 13-14. The only way I could try and pitch the correct notes would be by using falsetto. I always got to hear that is sounded horrible so I never thought about trying to sing for real in a band or anything, I just did it for fun + you can sing anywhere without having an instrument with you. I guess it did sound horrible, but what I understand now is that sounding horrible doesn't mean you cannot work on it and start sounding good. No one told me that back then though, and certainly not music teachers in school (+ the one I had was a real asshole).

I am currently attempting to do some kind of comeback musically, and when doing so I try to gather all the kills I have acquired throughout the years, and it would be very silly not to include singing in there since I love doing it.

Now it all goes down to weather I can accomplish a mix that inspires me and others! And for every day I am learning that guitar and vocals can be much more versatile than I have previously understood..! It's a lot of fun! biggrin.gif

I agree with every word, Kris!

I for one have had dealings with singing since I was very, very young, as my mom and dad always exposed me to music around the house and since I haven't had any instrument around at that time, I liked imitating what I heard - cartoon characters, to singing lyrics as I understood them from various hit songs I heart on cassetes or on the radio in those times smile.gif It proved an amazing unconscious ear training drill, as long as a connection between my ears and voice. I owe a lot to that 'musica child's play' I think smile.gif

Won't sign to the team...unfortunately. Always run away from singing as long as it's possible...sometimes isn't tongue.gif Like when You play a "job-gig" everyone in the band gets payed so You can't simple say I won't sing because I do not like to sing when I play guitar tongue.gif

Well, I for one was tossed into it - I am of course referring to the stage singing and becoming a singer - it was STRANGE and frightening, but hey, it proved to be a great move. Darius, are you afraid of it, or you dislike it?
