Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hey there mate smile.gif

I must congratulate you on a very tight and clean take! In my opinion, there is nothing to fix here, except maybe the melodic parts, which could sound a little bit more in time - see minute 0:41 - 0:43 for instance, where you are slightly behind the beat.

I think that rehearsing this one some more, maybe at a slower pace even, could make it sound more natural.

All the best,

Cosmin

Hey man! Like Cosmin said - nice and tight take. Your right hand looks very good - relaxed and comfortable while playing. Listening to the track on a proper, pretty high volume I could spot 2 things:

1. Very slight timming issues - sometimes going a bit of the beat and one slip in the melody part (also more timming slip than articulation problem). Not much to complain - matter of practice but we speak about perfection right now! This take is already a good one smile.gif

2. It would be a good idea to pan Your guitar to the righ channel in the mix. Gabriel has left one guitar track in the backing track to make You verify Your playing with the double tracking method. When You leave Your guitar in the center, We can hear some phase issues (something natural) that can affect the way we judge Your precision. If You Pan Your guitar to an opposite track to Gabriel's, You can easily verify if both of Your guitars sound "almost like one" when played together. It will also increase an overall power ot the track

Those are details. You have nothing serious to fix in this take. Well done! smile.gif

A very strong take here. The palm muting was great, as was the overall tightness.

The lead part wasn't quite as tight as the rhythm work but it was only a case of minor timing deviations as Cosmin and Darius have already pointed out.

Maybe add a little vibrato when playing prominent and lengthy lead lines to avoid them sounding plain.
