Hi Bleez! Your composition is killer! I love each part of it, and I feel that the new section evolves and combines great with the parts that I've already heard. The only thing that I'm not totally convinced is the tempo change at 4:10. That change is not smooth yet, you should try something to make it connect better and avoid the jump. Maybe something like stopping drums and adding a riff there, or some kind of tempo crescendo. Honestly this tempo changes are tricky but the coda for this one really deserves to dedicate time to fix it.

What do you think? Do you feel it natural?

Awesome, thanks Gab smile.gif I think I can make the change at 4:10 smoother. I wasn't 100% sure if the drum fill I used there really worked either. sometimes that change sounded okay to me but other times..... I wasn't so sure about it.
I have a couple of ideas to try on that part to make it more natural, I can fix it smile.gif

I like it, Bleez! And I'm envious of your ability to put a whole song together. I can't seem to do that!

Song analysis, song analysis... you have the guidelines at gab's army, and be sure that this won't be a problem anymore.

Thanks Cael smile.gif
tbh I have a ton of riffs and half finished song ideas on my PC, I only have a couple that are anything close to complete. if I had your kind of guitar skills however, Id be a happy man!

Hey Gab, Ive tried a couple of different things with the drums on this part. Here is the one I felt worked best out of them. Its really simple though. How does this type of drum fill into the tempo change sound to you?

Wou! It sounds very natural now! Is the drum fill the only difference?

yeah just the drums!
I tried a few different things with the drums but I thought that one worked best smile.gif I'll try to put in some lead guitar next and then get some lyrics using the melodies you came up with cool.gif

I might also try to work on this idea -
https://soundcloud.com/bleez666/proggish2

I recorded it a few months ago and just forgot about it but listening to it again, I thought it might have some potential. I dont have a structure in mind yet. Its just a few riffs, probably and intro - verse - chorus.
any opinions on it would be appreciated.

Hi Bleez, can't wait to hear the one finished with Lyrics! And about the new idea, it's also amazing! Each of the three parts sound very interesting for me, and it is totally connected with the previous song that you worked so I can start to see an album coming... the middle parts reminds me to COC and Metallica, great stuff!

Keep on rocking. smile.gif

You definitely got the Black Sabbath feeling man, also it's catchy. I really enjoyed the track. The vocals fit but they sound dry and maybe try to adjust some of the drums velocity, also some of the cymbal hits are too in your face. I like the riffs, the guitar tone goes well for the Sabbath tone , good one man.

thanks dude smile.gif I'll be sure to let you know how I get on with the lyrics and hopefully I can develop the other idea into something cool cool.gif

thanks for checking it out dude. I'll definitely go back over the drums as you suggested, I can hear what you mean about the velocity. I have a lot of work on my hands with the vocals , that will be the most difficult part for me. blink.gif smile.gif
