Hello everyone!

My name is Bernard and I've been playing guitar for 1,5 year now, and i would call a year out of it as an intensive playing. I picked up guitar as a result of listening to some great metal and rock babands, but since then my music taste somewhat expanded also to blues and jazz, thanks to guitar playing.

My influences go from blues, hard rock and various styles of metal, Such as power, death, thrash, melodic black metal. One of my biggest influences is also melodic death metal, as I love classic style melodeath bands like In Flames, Dark Tranquility, At the gates and Insomnium.

In of the gear, right now I'm using Gibson Les Paul Studio with Bkp holydiver bridge pickup, and soon also Jackson ke3 (when i'll figurę how to set it up, the floyd is really a pain). I run them through blackstar ht metal pedal to practice amp (at home) or marshall jcm800 at my teacher's place.

As for my guitar plans for future, I have started a band 2 months ago, and things keep being promising. I plan on becoming a professional musician and writing
my own material(that I already started, but it's far from perfect).
I'm looking forward to improving my guitar playing here, at GuitarMasterclass smile.gif

also, pardon my English, as it's my second learned language smile.gif

WELCOME TO GMC KIZIOR!!!! smile.gif I"m Todd and I teach our weekend vid chat lessons. Please do stop by!! It's always a fun time smile.gif You have some very spiff gear! Are you getting in to home recording with your computer yet? It's a big part of the process. The good news is that it's cheap to get started! Your PC, a free download of REAPER and an adapter to go from your amp speaker simulation output or usb in to your computer and bam!! smile.gif

I have been working with students in collabs recently, and in there we cover a lot of important aspects for building strong and fresh themes - I think participating in those should give you valuable insights for your own songwriting!

Hope to see you in the next one!
