I've been practicing this 9th chord arpeggio and all it's diatonic friends for the past week and felt to use a different fingering descending felt more natural, I was interested to see if it was a lack of finger independence on my part or what other guitarists with better technique would do!

This would be my fingering of choice:

CODE
----1--2--3--3--1--2--4--1--3--3--2--3--3--3--2--1--

E|--------------3--5--7--3--------------------------
B|-----------5--------------5-----------5-----------
G|--2--4--5--------------------5--4--5-----5--4--2--
D|--------------------------------------------------
A|--------------------------------------------------
E|--------------------------------------------------

I'd do it the same way too... it seems the most economical

The same here! I would use the same fingering and sweep picking to cross the strings.

I do similar and do the sweep but I do 1 2 4 4 on the way up, probably due to my short fingers.
