Hi mate, the tuning seems to be better on this new take but it's not related to EQ. One experiment that you could do is to tune your guitar perfectly and then check each string pressing at fret 12, if the tuning is also perfect there, your guitar is calibrated, if not, it needs some set up.
Try it and let me know what happens. -------------------- My lessons

And when I tried that check on my guitar I noticed that some strings are just a mili fraction out of tune on the tuner. Do you recommend setting it up? As I saw in the video it's not a complicated process I just have to adjust the screws on the bridge. This is the video I saw by the way: How to set your intonation correctly, and always …: http://youtu.be/3phxqPP9UTU |

Hi Anese, it sounds good now!
Just keep on practicing to be able to play the chords changes smoother and the last arpeggios tight and then share a new take at REC. Deal? -------------------- My lessons

Hi mate, it's great to know that the comments helped to discover an unknown issue. Now that you have it in mind, you'll be able to slowly avoid it.
About the strings action, from what I can see in the pictures, there is some room to set them lower. The problem can appear if the frets mute the strings when pressing, but if you set them lower and it doesn't happen, you'll find your guitar more comfortable to play. -------------------- My lessons

Hello Gabriel after viewing some vids about setting a guitar action, I did something usually known as the credit card - business card test, and it seems that my action is fine there's no need to adjust. however, I recorded another take please watch and let me know what you think https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMrTQ5ryviI Thanks |

Hi mate! Good job! It's great to see that your playing is improving from take to take! The tuning is ok now, so maybe it was a mix of things. I notice that you are doing less pressure with your fingers now so this could be the most important reason.
The only thing to pay attention is timing because sometimes you tend to go a bit before the beat. Other than that, this is very good. Keep on the hard work! -------------------- My lessons

Good job mate! The tuning on this one is good as well as your timing! Great to see you progressing that fast! Congratulations mate!
You can continue playing this one to train your hands, chord changes and rhythm, but you're also ready for a new lesson. -------------------- My lessons

Hi Anese! Thanks for the update. This audio sounds really good! You are playing the lesson clean and tight so you are now ready to experiment with a faster tempo close to 100%.

Hi Anese,
I have to say that this plan is not bad at all, and that it's giving good results. If it keeps you going and progressing, it's ok. However, if you feel that it takes too much to master a lesson, maybe you are choosing lessons that are a over your current level. Again, this is not bad, but if you think that you'll feel more motivate by mastering more lessons, you could choose lessons a bit easier than the ones that you are choosing. This doesn't mean that the lesson won't include new stuff for you, but it will take less time to master it... does it make sense? -------------------- My lessons
