It reminds me of Bernard Cornwall's 'Warrior' series of books, which also feature a young Saxon taken in by Danes. Also features the Lothbrok family too. Great stuff. Reminds of me of STACEY D but with Blonde Hair and a Sword instead of a guitar!! FLOKI is a great character as well Just crazy as a bag of cats but wads of fun All of this is based on ACTUAL HISTORY which is something many folks don't realize it seems.
