Bob arrived today and I am really impressed. I bought it without trying it which I know you shouldn't but it is really really sweet. Only thing that's a bit off are the bird inlays at frets 17, 21 and 24. Not very defined at all but then they have to cut the cost somewhere.

I love it and it's a beautiful tribute to a lovely bloke.

Phil

I don't know what I want next, but I know that if I just buy *one* more piece of gear, then I'll finally be a good guitarist smile.gif.

I wouldn't mind a 7 just to own one but I'm struggling with 6 rolleyes.gif
Have you seen the Schecter Hellraiser C9 Ben? HERE it is wink.gif

Well it's finally arrived and it's sweet, lovely neck, for me anyway.

Nice fender:) White + black pickguard is my favourite configuration along with swamp ash natural wood + black pickguard:)

I "need" a guitar with a floyd rose, but still don't know what to buy. Maybe I will just try to find Schecter Devil same as mine, but with a floyd rose, because I like the shape, and am sure that it "plays" for me well. In my city there are no proper music stores, so it is impossible to go to a shop and try out tons of guitars (at least good guitars, not the cheapest stuff :/ ).

Very nice guitar Phil! I would really like to hear what the neck pickup sounds like.

Bought some strings yesterday at a small guitar store. My eyes stopped at a very nice Les Paul in lemonburst. It was a used guitar from 2013 with a few dongs but not like heavy relic. It had sheptone pickups - not the original Gibson once. Store owner offered me to play...sure I did not! wink.gif
But there was a moment when I thought I should really have a les paul too tongue.gif

I'm thinking about buying this ENGL plugin as it does sound darn spiff and does everything from clean to blues to melt your face. Really fine emulation. Here is a quick tone demo I did using only the plugin.

Thanks you, I don't know of that guitar. What I like about it is that the coils nearest the neck and bridge are chrome, it looks really sweet.

Neck really suits my hand too. smile.gif

The lemonbursts are great looking LP's, one of my favourite finishes smile.gif
I think everyone should have a Les Paul cool.gif

Unacceptable laugh.gif I'm also really curious how it sounds in a home environment, not to rush you into anything but once you get to know where it stands out most do share a vid. smile.gif

To be honest Scott, I'm struggling to fit the feelings collab in with everything else I'm trying to learn/practise. rolleyes.gif

Cheers

Ok, I will, but only simple stuff (that's all I can do anyway laugh.gif ) . I'll do it straight from the emulated out of my amp, no effects except reverb so you get the pure tones.
