Now I can hear this as a finished tune. Very nice phrases mate, it reminded me to pink floyd. Good job! smile.gif

Hi mate, nice lesson choice!

This is going well, your take has some good energy and your current level is suitable for this lesson. There are a few issues that I note on this take that you should work and have in mind during the next days of practice.

- Your timing is not tight when playing the muted phrases. It would be helpful to practice 16th notes with palm muting over the backing track, or maybe check out the timing workout. to get some ideas on how to work on timing. LINK HERE.

- There are some moments in which I hear tuning issues, that I'm not sure if are related to your guitar or maybe that you are microbending a bit the notes while you play. Take care of it. (for example at 00:31).

- Also pay attention to the pitch of your bending, sometimes is not precise. Check this exercises: https://youtu.be/Hh_pYY6UYIw

- Another thing that I note is that your playing has some unwanted noises here and there. Be sure to mute the strings that you are not playing to make your playing cleaner.

- Finally, your vibrato could be more consistent. Work on this lesson: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Bens-Vibrato-Odyssey-5/

Ok mate, I hope that this comments help! Keep me updated of your progress and let me know if you have more questions.

Hi Gab,
Thank you for your return.

To improve my timing, I will use metronome above the backing track in Studio One and decrease the tempo.
I will focus on what you told me to work.

Hi Gab, Hi GMC, (salut les Français, je vois que ça bosse ;-) )

I work a stéphane Lucarelli lesson
I took time to understand the music.

This first test is a 80% speed .
It's pretty dirty, I must work on palm muting , sweeping , slide ...
I will take care to play correctly all these things.

The tone of Stephane is beautiful, it is hushed , his playing is very advanced and it will be hard to do as well
but I believe in my abilities.

What do you think about it ?

Is this a backing track you've made yourself or one from the internet somewhere? I'd love to record some solo over it!

i know this feeling....

this is an excellent modal loop for work scales, it's my point of view, these days i work on it several hours

and i feel the improvement about horizontal scales usage , some schred and i use it with hi gain preset to void to touch string with my uneeded fingers.... seem to be accurate

Sorry for the slightly out of tune guitar. It's not intonated correctly, but I did a quick take anyway on the backing track smile.gif

Yeah, I played some things that didn't sound too good in there, but it was just an improvisation, and I only show it to GMC, so I'm okay with it biggrin.gif

The tabs on part 8 of Neoclassical Etude are missing. Whenever you get the chance to fix! Quick update I have part 1-7 down under 80bpm. This lesson reminds of how Frank Gambale teaches except in neoclassical form. Cool ways of playing triads. Teaching style awesome cool.gif I plan on getting into the REC Room with this lesson. Excited sounding like the Vinman himself cool.gif

Hi Laurent

I agree.

New guitar, bad posture, bad tone, Hard Lesson.
I'll back with a better take soon

Hi Caelumamittendum

Thank you

I learn better with a low motion, I felt better muscle relaxation.
As I say Laurent, I 'll back soon with a new take.

Nice playing on confortably numb wink.gif
