Hi Laurent,

Your right hand technique is different on this video compared with the original lesson. The instructor is using hybrid picking and that allows him to have some extra dynamics that are not appearing in your take. Check out his right hand, and listen how the rhythm is played with different intensities and this is use as an expression tool.

Hi Laurent, it's not a must to use fingers, but as it's a lesson for Hybrid Picking, I think that it's a good plan to play it with pick + fingers.

Hi Laurent, this is getting better. The overall sounds good, but it has room to sound more connected with the groove (you tend to rush a bit the tempo), and also to add more dynamics, which is easier with fingers.

Hi Gabriel

My routine is almost two hours of daily guitar work:

- i work on Todd's lesson for one hour or less
- i jam on random backtrack on Utube, then i learn new chords and taste some other tonality and scale

except the lesson, the other work is more for fun than a realy serious way to do.

Sometime i work on some song, almost Opeth ones

Cheers

Ok, so I assume that you are covering alternate picking, legato and sweep picking, aren't you?

So we should get into rhythm stuff. Which rhythm GMC lessons have you worked?

And about the scales, have you ever thought in working on Sinisa's monster scales lesson?

Ok, so this is a good place to start:

Regarding scales. What scales do you already know and have used for jamming?
