Hi Gabriel

This is a take about the sweep picking lesson

After watching it i notice my picking is almost down to up, not appliable about sweeping.....

I must do another take with correct picking method in order to made a decent REC.

Cheers

Hi mate, good job!

I don't note anything to fix regarding your technique based on this video. Most of the sweeps sound tight and clean. When playing Sweep Picking, we usually do some kind of circle with our right hand when crossing all the strings. Check out some sweep picking videos (you can see the masters like Jason Becker, or Yngwie Malmsteen) to see what I mean.

Keep rocking!

Yeah! This is a good lesson to start getting into Dorian Mode:

https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...urs-dorian-use/

Please work on the lesson, and improvise over the backing track applying those concepts.

Good! This is definitely sounding Dorian. Well done. The next exercise could be to try to target any note from G7 chord when the chord change happens. At first experiment with the third (cool.gif. Jam over dorian more when Dm sounds, and try to resolve to the third of G, to then continue the phrase.

Analyse the original lesson and notice the note choices over each chord. Which notes are longer, or player on the strong beats.
