Hi Ricky, this is killer! It took me through different feelings but all of them are dark, hahaha. At first it starts with a very diabolic clown music , then it becomes epic with the addition of guitars and percussion, then it becomes dramatic and gets back to the clown music. I could imagine a whole story thanks to this tune mate. I love it.

Did I say that you are very talented?

Ok guys... this is the new picture. It's the first time that this workout is related to a legendary band so I'm really curious to know where you go with this one... smile.gif

Hmm, so, do I purely let the picture talk to me or do I let the fact that it is an Iron Maiden cover talk to me. Haven't a clue how to play Maiden style unsure.gif

Cheers Gab

Hi Laurent, this is a good way to create a cool solo!

There are some interesting sections on this improvisation that could be re-worked and polished. When creating a solo, you should identify these ideas, keep them and work on the wholes between them. My favorite parts are:

from 00:06 to 00:10
00:29 to 00:35
00:42 to 00:54

What do you think? Which are the stronger parts for you?

Hi Laurent! I like this new solo more, the evolution of the melodies is really cool and your overall playing is very tasty. I think it's a more inspired take.

About the workout, what's the connection between this backing/solo with the picture? I don't really get it... blink.gif

I still can't come up with anything in my head. I want to do a maiden style piece that ALSO relates to the picture. Ambition outweighs ability I'm afraid laugh.gif

Sorry Gab, maybe next time, I'm getting mixed messages with this one blink.gif

Cheers
