Hey guys, just for fun i was curious as to what your favorite speaker is and why. I recently got V30's and i'm very happy with them i have them mixed with 2 Gt12 75! lets hear your opinions

Nearly everyone seems to adore the V30. I"m not one of them. But that's why folks have their own set of ears smile.gif I"ve always, always found v30s to be just a pinch more fizzy than I like when you punch the treble. I prefere the GT12T actually as they always seemed more "Throaty". I was a a big fan of the custom drivers that Genz Benz put in their George Lynch Guitar Cabs as they would go down to 60hz for 7 string work which is something most guitar speakers just won't do and instead rely on bass reflex inside the cab which can be a bit more flubby. sad.gif But ERG requirements are their own set of problems to be sure smile.gif

Here is a vid comparing various drivers. NOT METAL but it does give you a good idea as it is well miced using low/mid gain settings.
