Hey guys! Let's make a thread to discover new music or to remember old treasures. I'd like to know what songs or bands are sounding most in your player these days...

my favourite band at the moment is ten foot wizard, the CD they just released is supreme.
If you like some power blues stoner tunes cool.gif

Also the new Ghost track is really good. I'd buy their new album on the strength of this track alone -

Finally, 'ruby the hatchet'. This track especially is great. Its kinda like if Stevie Nicks joined a psych rock band.

ive been listening to rise against over and over all there albums in my car at home and while walking the dog.
people have been really irratating me lately and rise against lyrics alwas make me feel like its not worth worrying about.
during the rocking rio concert in las vegas the rise against merchandise team was at my bar, and i told them i was a huge fan. so minutes later that brought brandon barnes to my bar, and this dude acctually sat and shot the shit with me, cool.gif we talked about there albums the first show i saw of them at the huntridge way back in 2001 i think, he drinks grey goose with perrier laugh.gif
talked about there next release, and he told me sometime in 2017 maybe late 2016. pretty cool meeting that dude jsut a normal guy that was easy to talk to. rise against are my heros.
this is one of my favorite songs, thought i would play along for you gabe

Great stuff Chris. I used to listen a lot to that Stabbing Westward album, as well as NIN, Filter and Jesus and the mary chain.

Hi Gabriel

My prefered song from the new album is Aftermath. I like very much the tone of the guitar and the emotional melody. But I can't find it on youtube to share : as soon as I find one, it is deleted ! laugh.gif

I've been in a bit of Irish mood lately smile.gif

Also I've been listening on Deezer service to Greatest Hits (Re-Recorded / Remastered Versions) by Dokken. Sounds awesome and I discovered this band by accident browsing around - so 80s hehe smile.gif

Been also exploring brit pop oriented bands like Franz Ferdinand, Oasis, Verve and The View.
