Also, the backing is great, I like the 'warpy' sound biggrin.gif We should totally use it ( or one similar ) in a gmc collab biggrin.gif

It might work well. It's slow, in Dm pentatonic, and has a verse-chorus thing going.

Yeah!! Lots of potential there for a powerful tune there - with a more powerful sound 00:32 will be an epic chorus. You rock!!

This has to be one of my favourite backing tracks from you, Kris... it just pulls you in!

Btw how are you enjoying your Tele? Does it make you play in a certain way?

Well I still can't stop playing it, and that must be a good sign. The build quality just seem to beat everything else I have. Also all the sounds in the 5 way switch are super usable, so I have so many more tonal options.

As for playing new stuff, I get more dynamic range from the neck pickup than I have before (maybe because its a vintage alnico pickup) and this has enabled some new touch sensitive sounds (which also makes play different), example:

I guess the biggest thing is probably that I can now dial typical country sounds with the bridge pup, but unfortunately I am too sucky at country show you anything (yet!).

Also, the action is now extremely low after I PLEK'd it, which obviously makes the shred stuff easier.

Thanks for the great comment!
