I remember the ibanez commercial was pretty funny, didn't hit the market where I live later on then today I bumped into this video.

Pretty cool they kept it the most affordable (80 bucks USA), sounds good though I always feel these mini pedals sounds a bit compressed when compared to the brothers. They are easier to carry around and gets the job done+has a good used market if you want to swap them, go for it if you're looking for something affordable.

I get so bored when these guys talk but still this comparison is good. I noticed I also keep my TS9 settings almost the same in this video;

Good shootou!! smile.gif the original 808 is still one of the most sought after pedals on earth just because it sounds soo freaking suite as a boost. But honestly the differences are pretty subtle when put in a band context or in a mix. Sure, one by one, you can probably tell some difference. But playing live, or with a solo in a full mix, it really becomes very similar.

One of my fave ever tube screamer emulations is still the fake screamer in the Digitech GNX3. It took the bits I liked form all the screamers and stuffed it in to one emulation. The more gain you add, the more it sounds like a modern screamer, back off and it sounds like an 808. The best part is the entire gnx3 costs the same as a screamer smile.gif

Here is the 808 and the mini side by side with less talk smile.gif BTW I still miss the BULB DELUXE as it's probably my fave boost ever but traded it in for my 11 Rack which has a tube screamer in it wink.gif
