Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi man this is loads better. As always, your timing is really good and this time you've got much better tuning. Well done for sorting out that problem.

Two areas I think can be improved are:

-Moving from chord to chord. Your doing everything in time and there's nothing wrong with your chord shifting but it still sounds very intermediate at the moment, ok? It will take a while before the movement between chords is more natural so this is a question of time.. it will just get better naturally.

-Your strumming hand, which is better than before but still could be more relaxed. Look at the way your play those final strums right at the end. See how relaxed your wrist is? Try to get closer to that when you're playing the rest of the song and you'll improve.

Hi mate!

Great to see this one again here and sounding much better thanks to your hard work done at the mentoring program! As I said previously both your tuning and timing are good on this one and what you still need is to continue playing this one to feel more comfortable to be able to play everything more relaxed, and as Ben said, to make the changes sound smoother.

Keep on the great job!

For the curious, we've been working on this one with Anese at Gab's Army thread: HERE.

Hi Anese! every single take of yours sounds better and better. It is still sor of "intermediate"- like Ben said, but some issues has been fixed for sure. For me it's still not enough wrist rotation (instead of using forearm) in your strumming motion. From the good things we have better timming to cinsider and a fixed tuning. Well done smile.gif
