Ok Gab, let's go !
How many time per lesson if I play only 1 hour ? 15 mn per lesson ?

The best is to create 4 blocks: 1x30 and 3x15. eAch day of the week you dedicate the longer block to a different lesson and the shorter to the other ones. Is it clear?

Hi Gab,
I started with strumming lesson : 30 mn
and 10 mn per lesson for the tree others.

I'm working actually on GuitarLovesPiano Collab, I will share my last take tomorrow.
I have a question about video Gab :

Does it matter if this is not done in one take?

I have different tone and it's easier biggrin.gif ... so I wanted to combine my takes in one video.
Alternatively, but I don't like this idea, I can play like playback over the full track.

Hi Gab,

At the beggining of strumming lesson, I had some trouble to understand the pattern of the right hand, but now it's fine.
I keep working on the others lesson.

I tried the last week end "Papa Roach Goes Djent" , I play this one when I have extra time, I keep focus on the strumming/bend/vibrato/alternate lessons.

Great! Could you learn the main riffs of the Papa Roach lesson? Can you play them at tempo?

Hi mate, good job with this lesson!

You need to identify the parts that include 16th notes and work on them. These little sections have timing issues, because you are not playing 16th notes tight.

I would also work a bit on your tone. You need more "presence" or "treble. I think that you tone need to be more defined. Experiment with EQ and try to emulate Papa's roach tone.

Ok Gab, I will work on what you are spotted.
This morning, I played over the backing track + tab on guitar pro.
I use Guitar Rig 5 as amp and Lepou as Cab, I loaded different impulse / EQ but my tone looks crap.

Are you sure you aren't using two cabs? One from guitar rig and the other from lecab?

Hi Gab,

Here a new take :

Attached File  Paparoach2.wav ( 23.07MB ) Number of downloads: 36

Timing is not perfect but (for me ^^) , it''s a bit better than previous one. (16th notes mad.gif )
I used only Guitar Rig, you are right in your last post,I had a second channel active in GR rolleyes.gif
I hope that the tone is better.

Now we are talking! Yes, your tone is much better now! It sounds close to the lesson. Your playing is also getting better, just keep on practicing focused on making riffs sound tighter. This style requires to be very precise.

Hi Gab,

I always practice my routine.
I feel that my right hand is a little better, especially since I take good support with the forearm and my wrist looks more relax.
For vibrato/bend, I noticed that I had more control since the first tier of my index continually touch the bottom of the guitar neck.
Those are small things, but I find them essential.

I watch a lot this lesson from Darius : https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Altern...Picking-Basics/
I try to incorporate a few tips in my game.

I have very bad habits when I started the guitar, 3 years ago
I work with slow tempo a and I force myself to make the right moves.

Hi Gab,

I continue to practice my routine, I spend a lot of time to fix the position of both hand.
I found an old lesson of a guitarist who inspires me a lot, his right hand looks perfect ...
I force myself to work for several days my right hand that way (the speed in less smile.gif )

What do you think Gab ?
