Hello guys! I had an idea for a forum game that can be funny but also a cool way to discover bands.

The idea is simple, I share a youtube song from an artist/band and the following GMCer has to share a new song that has some connection with the one that I've shared. It can be a similar style, a band that has member in common, or maybe bands from the same town can also work. The idea is to do something similar to what Spotify or lastfm does on its "similar artists" function.

So one example could be:

I share a Led Zeppelin Song, then another student shares a song by Them Crooked Vultures, another one then shares a Foo Fighters song, and then another one shares a song by QOTSA. All this chain has a connection of members... but the connection can be done by style too.

Does it make sense??

Ok, let's start!

so 1980s cop shows may be a little obscure biggrin.gif
GnR linked to the Miami Vice theme because paradise city was used on Miami vice in an episode called 'leap of faith' tongue.gif
maybe not the most obvious link but when you see the opportunity to post a Hadouken! video.... ya gotta take it smile.gif

let's go 'leap of faith' to 'faith no more' biggrin.gif

Killer Be Killed is an American heavy metal supergroup founded by The Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Greg Puciato and Soulfly/Cavalera Conspiracy/ex-Sepultura/Nailbomb frontman Max Cavalera in early 2011. The lineup also features Mastodon bassist and co-vocalist Troy Sanders and Converge drummer Ben Koller.
