Hi here

one of my favorite take, taken with a phone, so it have some cracks, but it can be listened.

it's an improvisation with a friend (who play better than me).
edit:

i have pass a declick on, sound a bit better

https://soundcloud.com/maxime-bon-3/yann-laurent-impro-declickalmost

i have many other take to show....

Laurent

Hi Laurent! This improvisation is really cool. I enjoy the music that you build together a lot! I also like to hear you playing with clean guitar sound. The lack of sustain adds that breathing that I usually comment that your improvisation lacks.

Thanks for sharing this one and congrats! smile.gif

Here's another one I like, it's more atmospheric but I enjoyed doing this one. Inspired by the picture below. All sounds from PRS SE Studio 24 7 string though some Boss software that came with a control surface.

I have to say that I miss your compositions at the Creativity Workout. Did I say that you are very talented? smile.gif

QUOTE (ChrisGLP @ Sep 20 2015, 07:38 AM) *
first of all... Phil and Bleez... that sounds really great!! smile.gif

and thats a great motivation for me, to hear the audios and watch the videos from other students and the instructors here... It is not easy to publish here my own playing so that everybody can here it... but it is the only way to improve the playing... so don't be shy and do it!! GMC is a great place to share and improve your playing!! smile.gif smile.gif

Here is a piece that I play after each practising session... only to relax and have fun with no demand on "perfection"... (sorry Gary biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif )

And your take has reached 85 downloads, so you are inspiring to many students! smile.gif

The most valuable thing of this take is when and why it's done. It really important to dedicate some time of our diary practice to just relax and enjoy playing guitar. I even think that it's the most important moment, and that your diary routine should have more of this.

Very nice audios Laurent. I really enjoy this side of your playing, very tasty and cool to hear. For any reason I feel that you are comfortable with this kind of improvisations, I feel that this is coming from your heart, it's your thing.

You should feel happy and enjoy the experience of jamming with a more advanced player. Music is beautiful, it's not a competition. smile.gif

Good stuff! Your take deserved to be shared here because I've found it really cool and inspiring. Your friend's version is very creative and unique! I've never heard a version of this song in this style. Very interesting. smile.gif

Is he currently doing a professional career as musician?

No, I didn't! Once again my previous comment becomes more valid. You sounds so good when playing this style. It's so natural for you.

you are kiding !! anybody can reconize me laugh.gif

this afternoon i have played with my friend, not a planed visit, i only come to get my godfather's BT chords (need to solve some miss understood things) and we jam, i played on his godin electro-acoustic guitar, and we play with naked sound with two looped tracks , we played something really deep inside, something really sad and full of emotions , it was like listening some DT solo, My friend look at me and he tell me, "woaw, wonderfull"

i can"t believe cause he is really hard with me, unfortunatly i do not record.... but believe me, it was awesome !!!

i'm not a good player (for now), but i do all my best , and once again, i repeat myself, but work pay
