stis band seems cool best of luck on the axe!!
I had a nice chat with the guy last night. Turns out he is a drummer for a band up here and they are releasing a new EP and will be doing some shows this spring. I am going to meet with him tonight and check out the 7 but it sounds like he is firm on the price. Going to get on the phone with the guys a Diamond DBZ again today and run the serial # so I can find out when it was made and if it is worth it. Here is a link to the guys band Reconstruct. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKtM3IEzaJnBsJNclgpR2gg |

That's life eh? Sorry it didn't work out but there are other fish in the sea The price seemed a bit thick. Not everyone wants to make a deal. Some folks don't really want to sell. Or they are selling their memories and keep the price too high. I've even had folks kill deals on ebay after the auction was over as they didn't think the price got high enough. That happened to me and the bloke had marked it as posted!!! Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr -------------------- SEE MY GMC CERTIFICATE “Success is not obtained overnight. I'm also at strike 2 first wanted to buy a new travel guitar, store returned me to say it was out of stock. Then a friends ibanez poped-up but after we learned its worth he wanted to think about it as thats usually not a good sign Now I have my eyes on jacksons, found a (visually) blemished but well priced js11 I liked but also have my eyes on a new js22 as the added features seems worth the price I'm going to check one at a music store hopefully this weekend to see if I like it enough to pay more... It seems we are both striking out a bit lately eh Mertay? It's ok though, if we are patient, eventually that sweet deal with come around. It's interesting you are looking at Jacksons. I just ran across this one today that looks decent. http://anchorage.craigslist.org/msg/5490164891.html This post has been edited by AK Rich: Mar 22 2016, 05:33 PM |

I just ran across this one today that looks decent. http://anchorage.craigslist.org/msg/5490164891.html I'm not much of an expert with this brand though always liked it. What I know about them; -American mades are bullet proof, still expensive used but are built like a tank. -Old japanese made ones are overpriced where I llive but if you find a really good deal don't miss. -played 2015 mexican, felt and looked very nice but somehow didn't like the neck. -played chinese js11, couldn't believe how nice the neck was for the cheapest they offer. So I guess like ibanez, not all Jackson necks are the same which is something to be careful about. |

That seems pretty lame. Does Ebay not allow the seller to set a minimum acceptable bid when auctioning off items? You can set a higher starting bid but that can put people off, like a real auction people tend not to bid until they drop the price and then they end up bidding over what it was originally You can also set a reserve price that is hidden but it's expensive. No need to set a higher starting bid , just a minimum that the item can sell for, and if it costs extra to set it up like that, especially if it's expensive, well then that's lame too. Yeah it's more expensive to set a reserve than to set a higher start bid. I think the minimum reserve price is £50 and you pay an extra percentage for that amount. It may have changed though as I haven't looked at that feature in a long time. You gotta make a vid with the pedal steel guitar! Or bring it by video chat!!! I don't suppose you watch ALASKAN BUSH PEOPLE? I think they were in wasila at some point? Todd I actually used it once in a collab that Cosmin hosted but it was audio only. It's a 1953 Multi-Kord. Beware , there are some sour notes. https://soundcloud.com/richatthelake66/sout...metal-collab1-1 [attachment=44315:IMG_3103.JPG] I haven't caught that show , but I do like the show on the DIY channel called Building Alaska, which is about remote cabin builds. Some folks I know that own Eagle Song Lodge and Family Peony Farm are featured this season. My brother and I made a snowmachine trip out there this winter during Jr. Iditarod. It was a fun ride. There are a few of those Alaska reality shows that are just bogus and do no accurately represent, so don't believe everything you see on them. And one of the shows (I can't remember the name) got in some serious trouble with Fish and Game for illegal hunts. http://www.newsminer.com/news/alaska_news/...7ae4e2840c.html There were problems with a family on Alaskan Bush People as well. There are issues with their residency and may have been collecting Permanent Fund Dividend checks fraudulently as well as resident hunting violations. They may not even actually be residents of Alaska. http://www.usatoday.com/story/life/people/...laska/72289704/ http://www.latimes.com/opinion/op-ed/la-oe...0226-story.html This post has been edited by AK Rich: Mar 24 2016, 05:46 PM |
