I am not sure we'd get any participants if the backing track requires you to play over several different scales and follow the chords changes carefully. Otherwise I'd be all up for it - as I am personally trying to get into this kind of stuff.

I also think that Jazz can scare many GMCers! We should go for an easier style. Stoner sounds good... what other styles do you think can be cool?
