Hey guys! After many months of hard work I'm happy to tell you that today we (Cirse, my band) will be doing a special show with a strings Orchestra!

The show will have different moments but we will keep the bands live energy so it's a bit inspired by Metallica with the Orchestra. There are also some moments where the Orchestra will be playing alone some medleys of our songs!

We will be playing at Teatro Vorterix, a magic place, and we will film our first official live DVD!! smile.gif

Here you can see some clips from the rehearsals....

I'm extremely happy and anxious! biggrin.gif

Was it hard to re-arrange your band parts and not over play and leave room for all the orchestra?

Not very hard, but a lot of work. There are some songs that were played exactly as the album and the orchestra added over it, while others where re-arranged and adapted to new versions to enhance the orchestra's work.

The most difficult thing has been the audio technical stuff to make the orchestra sound good with big amps and loud drums on stage. We've played with in near to have a good monitor of everything. Check where my amp was, and how we isolated drums with acrylic:
