This lesson is a very tasty tune that combines rhythm with soloing. The first thing that I recommend you to let us enjoy an analyze better your playing is to improve the sound quality of your videos. Please check this interesting video:




About your playing, you can play the licks well but you need to work on some elements and details to get the most from the lesson:

- Bending: Most of your bends don't reach the correct pitch. You need to work on this technique. There are several lessons in our archive but you can contact me if you need some recommendations.

- Vibrato: Your vibrato is not bad but it can be more consistent and more connected with the backing's groove.

- Dynamics: Stephane does a very interesting use of dynamics (intensities) in this lesson. Give it some more attention.

Hi, as Gabriel mentions you could do with honing your string bending. I'd say that when faced with slower bends you manage to be quite accurate with pitch but when there's less time to get the note bent up to pitch that's where you have issues. It's a combination of working on finger strength and combining that with your ear training & getting the pitch right. It will get better!

I would isolate any problem areas that you're having, like some of the quicker phrases, and work on them - especially if they contain more than one technique, like bending, vibrato and quick finger shifting.

You do quite a good job with hand coordination - that's an important foundation to have and will help you with getting those quicker phrases tighter.

Hey there! As Gabriel mentioned - it's nice to spend some time to find best possible gear setup for your recordings. It will not only improve our ability to judge your potential mistakes but also will be great kind of presentation on your own youtube channel

Basicly you got things to work as a sort of sketch of the lesson. You know the licks and their proper placement. Now you need to spend some more time to find perfect balance between your tone setting and dynamics of playing. Very low gain setting on Stephane's take gives him ability to shape the tone and add the brightness on those accented moments by increasing picking strength or changing it's angle. In your take we miss a bit of this contrast. As for technique itselt it's the bending that leaves more to complain at the moment - pitch is unstable
