How much of a tonal difference does the angled humbucker give?

Congrats,Todd. Cool looking axe and all but lets be honest here. This is a Kramer Baretta knockoff. But oh well, they are both knockoffs of a Strat. rolleyes.gif

It's a direct rip of the 80s original gunslinger which was really close to the Baretta as they were both competitors at the time. Now most of the kramers and rich guitars are built in China and are a pretty far cry from the USA models but are still loads of fun and cheap smile.gif Guitar was $300.

Really close to the Baretta? It is a direct rip of the Baretta which was first introduced as an EVH signature guitar in 1983 (although he never played one on stage). There is no question that with the Gunslinger,(1987) BC Rich wanted to capitalize on the movement at the time where tons of aspiring guitarists wanted a guitar like Eddie's. Do I blame them? No, but lets give credit where it is due.

Well,The rich has an entirely different headstock (not the hockeystick which defines the kramer) but yeah, the body is almost exactly the same. I had an original Kramer Focus 1000 with eh single angled pickup and it was really close. smile.gif

Yeah that's true. Funny thing about the Baretta headstock is that it is probably a rip of a Gibson Explorer headstock. wink.gif
At any rate, what you have there is a really cool guitar that just screams 80's and 90's hard rock and metal flash. Especially with that paint job. I just love that green. cool.gif You gonna hang on to this one for a while? biggrin.gif
