Seems if mixbus is Cubase, this is like Nuendo.

Mixbus first came out to be a summing program, like console plug-ins but in a DAW format which was very cool. People demanded more and they did turn it to a simple DAW but was always very buggy.

Seems since 1-2 years they released lots of updates and they got rid of the bad reputation then finaly relesed this. Not very affordable but there are console plug-ins which are more expensive so not bad either.

Who is it for; If you find yourself only using the very basic features of reaper+looking for an alternative DAW give it a demo.

It's a great DAW that has come a LONG way. Also, the tone it gets because of how they emulated the summing is killer. For folks that don't know much about that, it sorta means that your last step in mixing, can help the overall sound of your mix. It's software emulated from the hardware it's based on which is legendary for it's sound quailty.

If you buy a Harrison console these days, it will integrate with this daw which is very handy. smile.gif But NOT cheap.

But for those not looking to spend much, you can download the software for free and give it a whirl smile.gif It's crazy cheap to for a daw of it's quality.
