Nailed it smile.gif I like DJENT some stuff quite a bit, but he makes some valid points here. Much of the genre has gotten so predictable that it's nearly impossible to enjoy. The genre has started to fail under the weight of it's own tradition/orthodoxy. I'm hoping that djent bands can begin to flout tradition and start embracing other elements. Sadly this usually gets massive flack from the fans and earns them the label of "Sellout". Such is life is music biz eh?
