No shortage of those guys either And they are convinced of their "truth" entirely. They simply close their minds to any other information that doesn't support their view. This guy even goes as far as dissing Niel Degrasse Tyson (http://www.haydenplanetarium.org/tyson/as being basically full of crap. As they say, "There are some folks you just can't reach..."
Here is the youtube "proof" hehehehe The moon landing hoaxers piss me off to no end. |

Here is the youtube "proof" hehehehe I've seen those. Unfortunately one of my friends fell into that because he believed that Stanley Kubric was giving us hidden clues about it in the movie The Shining. Anyway - the most compelling "evidence" I have ever seen for that argument is that astronaut being pulled up which does look like he is being pulled up from behind with a harness. |

Wow. Hidden clues in the Shining eh? Well it takes all kinds to fill up a bus I've seen wads of "Evidence" from the wads of youtube vids about this. It's really a bit shocking to me how much of this type of thing exists on youtube. Then again I was taken aback by how much "Flat Earth" stuff there is as well. I expected the wads of Bigfoot of course
Everyone has every right to believe in the tooth fairy/etc. if they feel so led. Still, in the modern age, that these ideas are being legitimized and twisted in to political frameworks and historical revisionism even, honestly does disturb me a bit. It's almost as if we are regressing a bit, intellectually, and starting to accept things that we had rejected as ludicrous, as far back as the MIDDLE AGES. E.G. The idea that the Earth is Flat. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Myth_of_the_flat_EarthAnd yet, these ideas seem to be making a big comeback. It wrecks my hope in the perpetual advancement of the human species. We still need a LOT of work and wads of us keep taking steps backwards it seems and of course, the HOAXERS! The "Hoaxers" (folks that say the moon landing never happened) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_landing_...piracy_theories ( A documentary supporting this view aired on the FOX, "the Fox television network documentary Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?[6] claimed NASA faked the first landing in 1969 to win the Space Race." are part of this "movement of disbelief" it seems. Still, hope springs eternal I have faith that people will eventually embrace basic scientific understanding as a way to connect to other humans on a basic level and to build a basic level of understanding on which we can all build Todd *Here is the documentary in question from Fox TV about the "Fake" moon landing I've seen those. Unfortunately one of my friends fell into that because he believed that Stanley Kubric was giving us hidden clues about it in the movie The Shining.
