Good Morning all GMC membes and instructors

I am very appreciate that your guys advice and helping me out how to make good audio/video recording as well as the camera angle which is I never notice before. I did a lot searching on the internet and I also watched u tube video that sent by instructor Gabriel Leopardi. Thank agian.
I am considering to make a little bit investment in audio recording. Therefore I looking some audio interface which is Focusrite Scarlett Gen2 2i2 Studio and PreSonus AudioBox iTwo Studio. I found two of these are in the same price range. Both can work with PC.
My question is how can I use free amp emulator with one of those audio interface that i mentioned above. If my question doesn't make sense or something, please forgive me because I am very very beginner in recording.

All the best wishes from Thailand,
Pai

Great vid pull by Yoncopin smile.gif I"d say go with the FOCUS RITE if you can, but it's all down to whatever you want to do in the end smile.gif At that price point, the focusrite is very nice.

Watching those videos makes me miss my Scarlett. It was great untill my usb hub switch burned it to a crisp. Okay, not exactly, but the hub was faulty and ruined two Scarletts. In the end I figured out it was the hub, but by then I had already switched to a Presonus, which is great too. So that's also an option smile.gif

Excellent add by yoncopin!

Scarlett is a great choice. It's preamps have even won some prizes. To make things clear - the better preamp is, the more input gain (do not mistake with guitar distortion gain) you can get before preamp will add some ground noise etc. Frequency response is a matter of taste but those are two basic parameters to consider while judging preamp and Scarlett has one of best in the market.
There are several ways you can launch your interface and pc as a real time, amp simulator. You can count on our help once you purchase an interface.

You will need a DAW (like Reaper, Cubase, Logic or similar) + guitar amp vst plug-ins. There is a great amount to choose from freeware before you spend any money on licensed software.

I think the Scarlett is also relatively cheap compared to other options out there in the same level. Isn't it?

Good morning GMC,

Thank you very much for such a good advises and video which make me decide final decision.
I go with focusrite scarlett 2i2 studio Gen 2.
Now i am using Reaper for audio recording and amplitude for plug-in.
When i use amplitude as a plug-in it works perfectly fine but use as a stanalone I hear a lot of noise sound like radio (I don't know how to express in English sorry my bad english).

Is there anybody know how to fix it?

I deeply thank you guys because of your guys make my recording improved.

Best Regards,

Pai

I think I know what you mean, in standalone mode Amplitube has an input gain knob in the bottom left corner. I found it was often to high by default.
