Best bits :

"We are all being controlled by all powerful lizards"

"The lizards watch you in your sleep"

"The Sun Is a Cube"

"Dinosaurs were intergallactic bouncers"

"aliens get their kicks out of controlling semi-intelligent beings (such as humans) in an insidious manner"

Aliens havent discovered computer games it would seem laugh.gif

"Half of all humans are 'organic portals'"

OmG guys it could be you!

"There is an inner earth"

Start digging!

Someone posted it on UG, I've seen people talk about it before, but I find the whole thing quite funny biggrin.gif

I've been sorta browsing over it too, some bits are really entertaining, but of course, that makes me ignorant smile.gif

It has always been the privilege of people putting forth moronic ideas without being asked to, to claim in advance that whoever rejects these ideas is close minded, misguided, mislead, mindless, irrational or conformant.

It also has always been the prerogative of children and half-wits to point out that the emperor has no clothes. But the half-wit remains a half-wit, and the emperor remains an emperor.

Two things to point out:

QUOTE (Truthism)
You do not have access to Top Secret government information or to Top Secret government facilities. Nor are you a member of any of Earth's secret societies. In addition, you were not born 5,000 years ago; you were born only within the last 100 years, so you were not able to see history unfold with your own eyes.

Yet, despite all of these undeniable facts, you claim that you already know what the truth is.

I don't. But you just did. smile.gif

Also, the entire "proof" (or as much as I, being mindless and close minded, bothered to read) is based on the exact distortions and simplifications from various (dubious) media, that the piece of hogwash claims the rest of us base our "truth" on. smile.gif

Nah, those are called "girls" - and the Truthism people have clearly misunderstood their function.

the American constitution protects this right in the US. But this is very commonly confused today with the notion of "respecting everyone's opinion." That was not in the mind of the founding fathers. The founding fathers understood that given the power to control moronic thinking, a government would end up abusing that power. However, that does not mean one need respect idiocy.

My favorite line from Revolutionary time documents is the beginning of the Declaration of Independence. "We hold these truths to be self evident". That means, "when I smell poop, i am just going to assume it is poop and move on. Sure, I could be wrong once in awhile, but probably not, it smells like poop, in all probability is is poop, and i don't have time to argue with some guy who thinks it is roses".

Pretty much all western countries (and many others) have this protection - after all, my own country spent close to a year recently defending and debating this right - and the right to not respect other ideas (or lack of duty to respect other ideas, depending on how you put it). The point was mainly that mostly when you dismiss a moronic (or just uninformed) idea, such as this one, you're told how it's due to your being close minded. As is the case here smile.gif

EDIT: Just to clarify... Read the sentence again. I didn't say that "it's always been a privilege to put forth moronic ideas" (like it would seem when you quote half the sentence, except grammatically it falls to pieces), rather: that it's been a privilege of those who do so, to also claim that people who don't accept their idea are closed minded, ignorant, lost etc. This goes for ideas even worse than alien control from outer space.

Exactly smile.gif
