Hey everyone,

One of my bass students came back from summer holidays with a new motivation after I told him to listen to jaco pastorious and victor wooten in his time off school.

He recommended this Ted Talks to me after he had spent a long time navigating through youtubes many recommended videos.

Victor Wooten's message and general outlook is so refreshing and really brings home the feelings and fun we have when starting out on our musical adventure.

I think musicians of all levels can learn a lot from keeping this outlook to stay motivated and true to their musical voice.

Absolutely love the book! Have you heard the audio book version? It's even better, his delivery is fantastic and the added bass playing behind him taking is brilliant.

It's one of my 'go to' audio books to listen to while out running.

It's a brilliant book. I love it so much. It's one of the best music books I've ever read. It's on my top list with "Efforless Mastery".
