There is a device called USB KILL that will kill your computer. Looks like a little usb memory stick. The bad news is that it can easily be rehoused in an actual usb stick, or a sticker with 128gb can be put on the original. It's not a myth, it's a product you can buy. Some griefers are buying them and just leaving them laying about in shopping malls and such. If you put it in your computer, your computer is DEAD, no ifs ands or buts, just dead. Fries the motherboard on contact.
