Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Filipe, this is a very good performance.

You've got a great feel here, with the vibrato suiting the piece very nicely. Your timing is strong and so is your overall finger shifting. The slides work well, which many people struggle with.

I wish it was easier to hear your guitar because some of the tone and articulation doesn't come through the camera, but we can hear just enough to know you're nailing this track.

The only thing that let the performance down was the whole tone bend being a bit sharp at 0:25. Apart from that, it was flawless.

Hi mate,

We are working on this one at the mentoring thread so you already know my thoughts about your playing on this one as well as your improvisations over this backing track.

I'm amazed of your discipline and hard work. I can see your playing improving from week to week so we are definitely on the right track.

Besides the obvious details, this is a great take.

Congrats!

This is a really strong take, with tight timing, precise position shifts and good feel. There was one spot around 0:25 where you've lost control od bend's pitch and then something went wrong with another note. I'm sure you've detected this on your own. You are doign excellent job with Gabriel

For the future it would be pefect If you could place the camera in front of speakers. This way it would better capture higher frequencies and would gives us better traslation of your playing dynamics.

Well done
