SUBMISSIONS CLOSED.. Thanks everyone! Please upload your leads when finished.

This post is ONLY for signups and uploads. There is a special thread for discussions and questions. Please do not discuss collaboration here.

In today's collaboration, I'd like to invite 12 soloists to record a lead using the Lydian scale.
Just a reminder, the Lydian scale is basical;ly a major scale with an augmented 4th.
If you are not familiar with this mode you can review it on my "Learning the modes" lesson.

Here's how it works. I am providing 6 backing tracks. They all are in Lydian and cover 6 different keys (1 backing track per key).

The keys are

A Lydian
Attached File  A_Lydian.mp3 ( 339.49K ) Number of downloads: 278

B Lydian
Attached File  B_Lydian.mp3 ( 339.49K ) Number of downloads: 184

C# Lydian
Attached File  C_sharp_Lydian.mp3 ( 339.49K ) Number of downloads: 214

D# Lydian
Attached File  D_sharp_Lydian.mp3 ( 339.49K ) Number of downloads: 153

F Lydian
Attached File  F_Lydian.mp3 ( 339.49K ) Number of downloads: 224

G Lydian
Attached File  G_Lydian.mp3 ( 339.49K ) Number of downloads: 185

Pick a key and download the corresponding backing track.
Only 2 participants per key...

Record your lead in distortion.

Once you are done, post your entry.

Once all the leads are there I'll mix them all in one big mp3 and give you comments.

Looking forward to your participation!

I pick A

EDIT:
I tried to focus on Wallimann's suggestion from the last collaboration, which was - "resolving all your ideas by going back and staying a little longer on the root of the scale"

My upload Attached File  MickeM_Lydian.mp3 ( 674.59K ) Number of downloads: 227

I'll give B Lydian a shot.

This is my first ever serious attempt at a solo, heh.

That's totally cool for me.
Andrew since you did one is that cool with you to let Leabreak do it?
That way Muris can still have a shot at it..
Is that cool?
